Phnom Penh: On 26 and 28 January 2026, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport held meetings and discussions with a delegation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) regarding the project entitled “Transformation of the Regional Teacher Training Center and the Kampong Cham Provincial Teacher Training and Capacity Building School into the Kampong Cham Teacher Training Institute.”

On the afternoon of Monday, the 8th waxing day of Meak, Year of the Snake, Buddhist Era 2569, corresponding to 26 January 2026, His Excellency Professor Dr. Nat Bunroeun, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, presided over the Project Study Kick-off Meeting with support from JICA, demonstrating strong commitment to enhancing the quality of teacher training in Cambodia.
